Mina Grossman-Ianni is Director of Development for the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, a part-time position. She was Executive Director of the WSO from 1998 to 2001. In a previous career, as a journalist and producer with the CBC from 1971 to 1985, she enjoyed documentary production and journalistic interviews. She became Program Director for Southwestern Ontario for the French CBC (Radio-Canada) until 1996. Under her guidance the station, CBEF, received two national prizes for a bilingual program to "Save our Symphony" a forerunner to her eventual involvement with that organization.  In 1996 until her retirement in 1997, she was Director for the Toronto and Windsor stations of Radio-Canada.  Ms. Grossman-Ianni is very active in the community, having served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Arts Council,  the Canadian College of Family Physicians and the Board of Directors of the National Gallery of Canada, to name just these few. She is also the recipient of many honours including Woman of the Year and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Windsor.
