The Honourable Howard R. Pawley of Windsor served as member of the Manitoba Legislature for Selkirk, Minister of Municipal Affairs, Attorney General, Leader of the Official Opposition and Premier. Pawley has been adjunct professor of political science at the University of Windsor since 2000, was associate professor of political science at the University of Windsor from 1990-2000 and The Paul Martin professor in political science and law from 1993-98. Pawley currently serves on the Public Interest Advocacy Centre Board and is a vice-president of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. In addition, Pawley serves as president of the Harry Crowe Foundation and vice-president of the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council. He is a former honorary member of the Board of Directors of the Windsor-Essex Alzheimer Society.
